Using Ping

Ping can be used to determine if the Web-4M server you are using is still running. When you logged on the server was running, but if you suddenly find that you can't get room or files lists from the server, it could be that someone or something has stopped your sever or interrupted your connection to it. First check the small colored box just below Quit. If the box is green your connection to the server is still functioning. If the box is yellow it means there has been a temporary interruption in your connection. If the box is red it means you are no longer communicating with the Web-4M server. Ping is the most useful when the box is yellow as it will tell you if your connection has been restored.
